Job Summary
Wadsons India Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Manager to manage the companys financial accounting, reporting, taxation, compliance, and day-to-day finance operations. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting principles, statutory regulations, taxation, financial reporting, and accounting software.
Key Responsibilities
- - Manage and supervise the complete accounting operations of the company.
- - Maintain accurate books of accounts, ledgers, journals, and financial records.
- - Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
- - Monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank transactions, expenses, and reconciliations.
- - Ensure timely preparation and filing of GST, TDS, income tax, PF, ESI, and other statutory returns.
- - Coordinate with statutory auditors, internal auditors, tax consultants, banks, and government authorities.
- - Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax laws, and company policies.
- - Prepare budgets, cash-flow statements, financial forecasts, and variance analysis.
- - Monitor cash flow, working capital, outstanding receivables, and payment schedules.
- - Verify invoices, purchase orders, expense claims, and payment approvals.
- - Review and approve accounting entries and ensure proper documentation.
- - Identify financial discrepancies, control risks, and opportunities for process improvement.
- - Develop and implement effective internal financial controls.
- - Support management in financial planning, costing, pricing, and business decisions.
- - Lead, train, and supervise the accounts team.
- - Maintain confidentiality of financial and business information.
Required Qualifications
- - Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- - Minimum 5-15 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance, preferably in a manufacturing, trading, or corporate environment.
- - Strong knowledge of Indian accounting and taxation procedures.
- - Proficiency in Tally ERP/Tally Prime, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel.
- - Good understanding of GST, TDS, income tax, audit procedures, and statutory compliance.
- - Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- - Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- - Good written and verbal communication skills.
- - Ability to manage deadlines and work independently.
