Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage ERP-based plant accounting processes.
  • Supervise daily inventory accounting and material inward/outward entries.
  • Oversee material flow from stores to dispatch.
  • Prepare and maintain MIS reports related to all plant activities.
  • Interact with GST department for filings and compliance.
  • Lead and guide the accounts and operations team.

Key Responsibilities:
Accounting & ERP Management
  • Monitor and manage ERP-based plant accounting processes.
  • Ensure accurate financial entries and compliance with company policies.
Inventory & Stock Controls
  • Supervise daily inventory accounting and material inward/outward entries.
  • Conduct regular physical stock verification (RM, PM, FG, Scrap) and reconcile with ERP.
  • Track and report slow-moving and non-moving inventory.
  • Ensure FIFO method adherence and inventory accuracy.
Store to Dispatch Operations
  • Oversee material flow from stores to dispatch, ensuring timely and accurate documentation.
  • Coordinate with logistics and production teams for smooth operations.
MIS & Analytical Reporting
  • Prepare and maintain MIS reports related to all plant activities, including:
  • Compares daily production against dispatches and shows cumulative unsold stock to monitor warehouse buildup.
  • Problem-Solution-CAPA MIS Report
  • Documents daily production or process issues along with implemented solutions and corrective & preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Production Planning vs. Actual Execution with Variance Analysis
  • Daily report comparing planned production quantities against actual output, highlighting variances and reasons for deviation.
Costing & BOM Validation
  • Prepare BOM Validation Report, costing analysis, and variance analysis for production processes.
Taxation & Compliance
  • Interact with GST department for filings, reconciliations, and compliance.
  • Maintain records and ensure adherence to statutory requirements.
Team Management
  • Lead and guide the accounts and operations team for efficient workflow.
  • Foster collaboration between departments for operational excellence.
  • Proficiency in Busy Accounting Software and Advanced MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Data Analysis).
  • Strong understanding of plant operations, inventory control, and store-to-dispatch processes.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems and ability to monitor plant accounting.
  • Excellent organizational and team-handling skills.
  • Familiarity with GST compliance and related documentation.
  • Prior experience in Chemical Industry is highly preferred.
