Job summary

Elasticrun invites applications for a Semi-Qualified CA/CMA role focused on financial close, statutory compliance and accounting controls. You will guide a small team, review journals, and support Balance Sheet, P&L, and cash flow preparation under Ind AS.

Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems helps analyze variances and ensure accuracy. This position emphasizes statutory audits, GST and TDS compliance, with opportunities to contribute to internal control testing and process documentation.

Qualifications

• Semi-qualified CA/CMA with IPCC cleared and articleship completed.
• Experience in statutory audit is preferred.
• Working knowledge of Ind AS, GST, TDS and Income Tax.

Responsibilities

• Assist closing activities and prepare MIS reports on time.
• Assist in Balance Sheet, P&L, cash flow and notes under Ind AS.
• Support key accounting workings including lease accounting and financial instruments.
• Review journal entries, ledgers and perform reconciliations.
• Support treasury operations and statutory audits with documentation.
• Track GST, TDS and other statutory compliances; assist with ITGC testing.

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist month-end and year-end closing activities and prepare MIS reports that are accurate and on time.
• Assist in preparation of the Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, Cash Flow Statement and Notes to Accounts under Ind AS and Schedule III.
• Assist Key Accounting Workings, including Lease Accounting, Financial Instruments and EIR Computations and Employee Benefit Obligations based on Actuarial Reports.
• Review & pass Journal Entries, scrutinize Ledgers and perform GL, Bank and Balance Sheet Reconciliations.
• Support Treasury Operations, including Fixed Deposit, Mutual Fund and Bond Investment Workings, Interest Reconciliations and Accruals.
• Support Statutory, Internal and Tax audits by preparing Audit Schedules, organizing supporting documents and coordinating responses to auditor queries.
• Assist in tracking GST, TDS and Other Statutory Compliances, including Contingent Liabilities.
• Contribute to Internal Financial Control Testing (including ITGC) and the documentation of key Finance Processes.

Who We Are Looking For:

• Semi Qualified CA/CMA with Intermediate/IPCC level cleared (both groups) with articleship completed, preferably with Statutory Audit background.
• Ability to guide and review work of 2-3 team members.
• Working knowledge of Ind AS / Accounting Standards, GST, TDS, and Income Tax.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP and Pivot Tables. Exposure to ERP systems is an added advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively as part of a team.
