Job summary

Virtual Height IT is seeking a hands-on accounting professional to manage day-to-day accounting operations, GST/TDS compliance, and assist in finalisation of accounts for multiple clients. You will provide insightful MIS support and engage directly with clients to ensure accurate financial reporting.

The role requires strong knowledge of Tally, solid accounting fundamentals, and the ability to handle multiple assignments with professionalism.

RoleKey Responsibilities

The candidate will be responsible for handling and supporting clients across accounting, taxation and financial management functions.

Accounting & Finalisation

• Complete day-to-day accounting in Tally
• Review and maintain books of accounts
• Bank, ledger, debtor and creditor reconciliations
• Accounts payable and receivable management
• Monthly accounting closure
• Assistance in finalisation of accounts
• Preparation of schedules and supporting documents
• Identification and resolution of accounting discrepancies

Direct & Indirect Taxation

• GST registrations
• GST compliance and related working
• GST reconciliations
• TDS compliance and related working
• Income Tax-related assignments
• Coordination with clients for compliance requirements
• Monitoring of statutory compliance timelines

MIS & Virtual CFO Support

• Supporting Virtual CFO assignments and client discussions

Candidate Profile

• Strong accounting fundamentals
• Good practical knowledge of Tally
• Working knowledge of GST and TDS
• Understanding of finalisation of accounts
• Ability to independently handle routine accounting work
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate with clients professionally
• Experience in handling multiple clients will be an advantage
• CA firm experience & Manufacturing accounting experience will be particularly preferred
• CA Inter candidates with strong practical knowledge are encouraged to apply
