Job summary

AGI Moneey in Delhi seeks a finance professional to lead accounting operations, regulatory reporting, and audits in a dynamic NBFC environment.

You will manage GL, AP, AR, fixed assets, and loan accounting, with emphasis on accuracy, controls, and MIS reporting; 1–4+ years in finance needed; RBI familiarity beneficial.

Qualifications

• CA Final or CA-Inter qualification required.
• 1–4+ years in finance & accounting, with NBFC/financial services exposure.
• Experience in regulatory reporting and audits is essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations (GL, AP, AR, fixed assets, reconciliations).
• Prepare financial statements monthly, quarterly, and annually.
• Monitor loan portfolio accounting including provisioning, interest income recognition, and write-offs.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors and ensure compliance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Financial Accounting & Reporting

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations (GL, AP, AR, fixed assets, reconciliations)
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Monitor loan portfolio accounting including provisioning, interest income recognition, and write-offs
• Review and validate trial balances, ledgers, and closing processes
• Loan accounting, ALM preparation
• Preparation of MIS reporting

2. Treasury & Cash Flow Management

• Manage cash flow, liquidity, and fund utilization
• Oversee borrowing, lending, and investment strategies
• Budget preparation & Variance analysis

3. Audit & Internal Controls

• Coordinate with internal and external auditors

4. Taxation & Compliance

• Coordinate tax audits and assessments

KEY SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

• Knowledge of loan accounting, provisioning, and credit risk
• Advanced Excel and financial systems (ERP tools like LMS, LOS, Tally, etc.)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Education: CA Final / CA-Inter
• Experience: 1-4+ years in finance & accounting, with a minimum of 6 months in NBFC or financial services
• Strong experience in regulatory reporting and audits

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

• Experience in lending businesses (retail loans, MSME, microfinance)
• Familiarity with RBI returns and compliance systems
