Job summary

Nat Habit is seeking an Accounts Executive/Senior Accounts Executive to manage day-to-day accounting, GST/TDS compliance and reconciliations. You will handle purchases, COGS, AP/AR, invoicing, and month-end closings while coordinating with internal teams and vendors.

The role requires 3–4 years in Finance & Accounts, familiarity with Tally/ERP and strong analytical skills. Based in Gurugram, it offers growth in a fast-growing natural personal care startup.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of experience in Finance & Accounts.
• Good GST and TDS knowledge with bookkeeping.
• Experience in GST/ITC reconciliation, Purchase, COGS, AP & AR.
• Proficient with Tally/ERP and MS Excel.
• Strong reconciliation and analytical skills.
• Good communication and coordination abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple accounting activities and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities, including posting transactions.
• Perform GST reconciliation between purchase records and GST portal data.
• Manage Purchase and COGS accounting, including analysis.
• Handle Trade Payables, vendor reconciliation, invoicing and ageing.
• Manage Trade Receivables, customer reconciliation and collections.
• Handle TDS compliance, deduction and returns filing.
• Prepare and issue sales invoices in a timely manner.
• Conduct bank, vendor and customer reconciliations and resolve differences.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing and financial reporting.
• Maintain proper accounting records for audits and compliance.

Role – Accounts Executive / Senior Accounts Executive

Key Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities, including recording and posting of accounting transactions.
• Perform GST reconciliation between purchase records, books of accounts and GST portal data, including ITC reconciliation.
• Manage Purchase and COGS accounting, including purchase entries, reconciliation and COGS analysis.
• Handle Trade Payables, including vendor reconciliation, invoice verification, ageing analysis and payment follow-up.
• Manage Trade Receivables, including customer reconciliation, ageing analysis and collection follow-up.
• Handle TDS compliance, including TDS deduction, reconciliation and preparation/filing of TDS returns.
• Manage sales invoicing, including preparation, verification and timely issuance of invoices.
• Perform bank, vendor and customer reconciliations and resolve outstanding differences.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing and preparation of financial reports.
• Maintain proper accounting records and supporting documentation for audit and statutory compliance.
• Coordinate with internal teams, vendors and customers for resolution of accounting and reconciliation-related queries.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3–4 years of relevant experience in Finance & Accounts.
• Good practical knowledge of GST, TDS, accounting and bookkeeping.
• Experience in GST/ITC reconciliation, Purchase, COGS, AP and AR.
• Good understanding of debit/credit entries and accounting principles.
• Hands-on experience with Tally/ERP and MS Excel.
• Strong reconciliation and analytical skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple accounting activities and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

Graduate in Commerce (B.Com) / M.Com / CA Inter / equivalent, with 3–4 years of experience in a Finance & Accounts role.
