Job summary

Mihir H Lakhani Co (chartered Accountants) is seeking a detail-oriented candidate to manage day-to-day books using Tally, assist with GST and TDS filings, and support the preparation of financial statements.

The role offers exposure to audit work and interaction with diverse clients across sectors, with mentorship from senior CAs and growth within the firm.

Qualifications

• Maintain day-to-day books of accounts (purchase, sales, journal, bank entries) in Tally.
• Assist in GST return filing (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9) and TDS return filing.
• Prepare financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet).
• Assist with statutory and tax audits under senior guidance.
• Handle basic income tax return (ITR) filings for individuals and businesses.

Responsibilities

Role & responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day books of accounts (purchase, sales, journal, bank entries) in Tally
• Prepare and reconcile bank statements, ledgers, and trial balances
• Assist in GST return filing (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9) and TDS return filing
• Support in preparation of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet)
• Assist with statutory and tax audits under senior guidance
• Handle basic income tax return (ITR) filings for individuals and businesses
• Coordinate with clients for data collection, documentation, and follow-ups
• Maintain accurate filing and documentation of vouchers, invoices, and records
• Support senior accountants/CAs in day-to-day client deliverables
• Support the senior in various audits.

B.Com / M.Com / semi-qualified CA / CA Inter
