Job summary

Mishra Sahu Jain Associates in New Delhi, India, seeks an experienced accounting professional to manage day-to-day bookkeeping, GST and TDS returns, payroll, and finalization of financial statements for clients.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of relevant experience, strong knowledge of GST, TDS, payroll, and income tax, and proficiency in Tally ERP and MS Excel, with a proven ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple assignments.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of relevant experience in CA / Accounting / Audit firm.
• Strong practical knowledge of Accounting, GST, TDS, Payroll and Income Tax.
• Good working knowledge of Tally / Tally ERP and MS Excel.
• Experience in finalization of accounts and audit work will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping and maintain accurate books of accounts.
• Prepare and file GST and TDS returns and ensure timely statutory compliance.
• Handle payroll processing and related tax compliances.
• Manage Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and ledger reconciliations.
• Perform bank reconciliations and assist in monthly book closure.
• Assist in preparation and finalization of financial statements, Income Tax Returns and Tax Audit Reports.
• Assist in audit assignments and maintain proper working papers and documentation.
• Coordinate with clients, handle day-to-day accounting and tax queries, and ensure timely resolution.
• Ensure all assigned work is completed accurately and within prescribed deadlines.
