Job summary

Reo.Dev is seeking an experienced finance professional to oversee accounting for Indian and US entities and drive close processes, reporting, and controls. You will prepare P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements, and deliver investor MIS including SaaS metrics.

You will coordinate audits and tax filings, support Company Secretary duties, and participate in fundraising data rooms. Strong hands-on accounting, startup experience, and Bengaluru base are preferred.

Qualifications

• 4-5 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, or a related function.
• Prior startup or high-growth SaaS/tech company experience preferred.
• Hands-on accounting and finance skills across close processes, reporting, and controls.
• Willing to work from Bengaluru and coordinate with US entity as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end bookkeeping and accounting operations for Indian and US entities.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual close, P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements per Ind AS/GAAP.
• Deliver investor MIS reports, ARR/MRR, burn rate, runway, and SaaS metrics.
• Coordinate statutory audits, GST, TDS, tax filings, ROC filings, and annual returns.
• Support Company Secretary functions, maintain statutory registers, draft board resolutions, and ensure Companies Act compliance.
• Aid due diligence for fundraising, maintain financial data room, and respond to investor queries.
• Enforce financial controls, expense policies, vendor payments, reimbursements, and procurement approvals.
• Track SaaS metrics like CAC, LTV, payback, churn, gross margin; present insights to leadership.
• Liaise with banks, external auditors, tax consultants, legal counsel, and authorities.
• Assist in building financial models, budgets, and scenario planning to support decisions.

Job description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

What you will own

• Prior experience at a B2B SaaS or similar startups (Series A/B stage preferred)
• Manage and oversee end-to-end bookkeeping and accounting operations across the Indian entity and the US entity, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations.
• Review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close, prepare P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards (Ind AS / GAAP).
• Deliver investor MIS reports monthly, including management accounts, ARR/MRR schedules, burn rate, runway, and key SaaS metrics as required under our Investors' Rights Agreement.
• Coordinate and manage statutory audits, tax filings (GST, TDS, advance tax, corporate tax), and coordinate compliance with ROC filings, annual returns, and board resolutions.
• Support the Company Secretary function, maintain statutory registers, coordinate board and shareholder meeting documentation, draft resolutions, and ensure compliance with the Companies Act 2013.
• Aid due diligence processes for future fundraising rounds prepare and maintain a financial data room, respond to investor queries, and coordinate with legal and accounting advisors.

What we are looking for
