Job summary

Search Advisers Services Guj is seeking a Deputy Manager/Manager R&D based in Vadodara to drive air circuit breaker design and development.

Requires BE/BTech Electrical with 4-7 years experience and proficiency in Creo 4, IS/IEC standards, Six Sigma, RCA, DOE and SAP. You will develop drawings, assemblies, procedures and upgrade products for market needs.

Qualifications

• Electrical engineering degree (B.E./B.Tech) with 4-7 years of experience.
• Experience in R&D for electrical products and design optimization.

Responsibilities

• Design and development of Air Circuit Breaker.
• Design and understanding of plastic, sheet metal, machined and die-cast components.
• Ensure compliance with IS/IEC 60947-1 & IS/IEC 60947-2 standards.
• Create design documents: component drawings, assemblies, testing procedures.
• Upgrade or customize products to meet market requirements.

Key Deliverables:

1. Design & development of Air Circuit Breaker. Design & understanding of plastic, sheet metal, machined & die-cast components.
2. Have thorough knowledge of relevant IS and IEC standards, IS/IEC 60947-1 & IS/IEC 60947-2.
3. Develop design documents such as component drawings, assembly & testing procedures.
4. Good understanding of products & its application to upgrade or customize Products to meet market requirements.

Functional Competencies

1. Proficient in Creo 4
