Job summary

Legrand in India seeks an Electrical/Mechanical engineer to handle costing and design tasks for Distribution Boards and customized products. You will prepare BOMs in AutoCAD/Creo, release orders in SAP for samples and production orders, and maintain design documentation with a focus on standard and customized DBs.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, with desirable IEC knowledge and strong MS Office and CAD proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical/Mechanical engineering is required.
• Knowledge of IEC 60269, IEC 61439 and IEC 60947 is desirable.
• Proficiency in MS Office and CAD tools (AutoCAD/Creo) is expected.

Responsibilities

• Estimation and costing of Distribution Boards and other customized products.
• Preparation of BOMs and drawings in AutoCAD and Creo.
• Order releasing and uploading BOMs in SAP for samples and production orders.
• Development of customized and standard distribution boards at vendor sites.
• Upkeep of design documents for standard and customized products.
