Speed Global in Maharashtra seeks a skilled professional for the wiring harness design role. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 4 years of experience in Creo Wiring Harness and be adept at creating detailed 3D models and 2D drawings. The role requires strong knowledge of electrical components and the ability to maintain comprehensive documentation for harness assemblies. Hands-on experience with PLM Windchill is a plus.

Qualifications

Job description

Responsibilities

• Drafting knowledge of wiring harnesses and electrical routing for engine, genset, battery module etc.
• Create component, wiring harness 3D models & 2D drawings along with schematic using Creo tool.
• Interpret electrical schematics and translate them into harness layouts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical, mechanical, and release.
• Select appropriate connectors, wires, and protective coverings based on application.
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards (e.g. UL, ISO, SAE).
• Maintain BOMs (Bill of Materials) and documentation for harness assemblies.
• Should be able to work individually and/or with a small team actively to do on time delivery.
• Ensure the deliveries are met as per the set requirements and timelines.
• Ensures design correctness and completeness for all wiring harness, schematic & wiring harness installation releases within the area of responsibility.
• Knowledge of wiring harness installation will be value added.
• Knowledge of supporting prototype builds and resolve issues during testing and validation will be value added.

Skills and Experience Required

• 2 to 4 Years of working exp. in Creo Wiring Harness
• Able to Understand the requirements shared by Customer to create the drawings.
• Control panel design and development, 3D model creation along with Component and Sub assembly.
• Creating the Wiring harness drawing creation using Creo cabling.
• Electrical component knowledge and able to create the library components required for harness.
• 3D model Creation for Mechanical and Electrical Parts, Flattening the 3D drawing to 2D.
• Wiring diagram creation, Through Understanding of Electrical components and assembly.
• Requirements Bachelor’s in Electrical, Electronics Engg or equivalent
• Hands on experience on Creo cabling. Experience working on PLM Windchill and its process.
