Job summary

Cyient in Hyderabad is seeking a Harness Design Engineer with a minimum of 3 years of experience with a bachelor’s or 4–6 years with a diploma in Electrical or Mechanical engineering. You will work on harness routing, drawings, and mounting concepts for heavy equipment.

Expertise in Creo Cabling and CHS XC is essential, along with solid knowledge of sheet metal and GD&T. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust harness solutions and support manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma with first class and minimum 60% marks.
• Experience: 3 years with bachelor’s degree or 4–6 years with Diploma in wiring harness design/support.
• Experience in wiring harness design/support for heavy equipment/automotive/off-highway equipment.

Responsibilities

• Harness routing design.
• Provide different routings concepts.
• Prepare harness drawings according to JD Mannheim unit requirements.
• Provide concepts for harness mounting brackets.

Basic Qualification

Bachelor’s degree or diploma in: Electrical Engineering,/Mechanical engineering with first class with minimum 60%of marks.

Overall work experience

Minimum 3 years relevant experience with bachelor’s degree or 4-6 with Diploma with wiring harness design/support preferably in Heavy Equipment /Automotive /off highway equipment’s

CAD Tool

• Experience in routing and modification using Creo cabling


• Capital Harness system (CHS ) Experience, including:

• Responsible for Harness routing design


• Provide different concepts of routings


• prepare harness drawings according to JD Mannheim unit requirements


• Provide concepts for harness mounting brackets.
