Job summary

Renechip Technology Services seeks a CREO Cabling Harness Engineer to join the Engineering – Electrical Harness Design & Development team in Hyderabad. The candidate will design electrical wiring harnesses, perform 3D routing, create drawings, and manage BOMs using PTC Creo Cabling and Windchill PLM.

Ideal candidates have 3–8 years of experience in electrical harness design, with aerospace, automotive, or related industry exposure.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in electrical harness design using PTC Creo Cabling (EHI/EFI).
• Experience with 3D harness routing and manufacturing documentation.
• Familiarity with GD&T standards and engineering documentation practices.
• Ability to interpret electrical schematics and convert to harness designs.
• Experience in BOM management and supplier/connector selection.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical wiring harnesses using PTC Creo Cabling (EHI & EFI).
• Perform 3D harness routing and electrical integration within complex assemblies.
• Create and maintain manufacturing drawings and detailed documentation.
• Generate and manage Bills of Materials (BOM) per engineering standards.
• Interpret schematics and translate to accurate harness designs.
• Select connectors, conduits, clamps and fasteners per requirements.
• Perform wire bundle calculations, weight assessment and stack-up analysis.
• Ensure designs meet GD&T standards and customer specs.
• Collaborate with Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, QA and PM teams.
• Support design reviews, ECR/ECO processes and design validation.
• Maintain data and revisions using PTC Windchill PLM.
• Ensure manufacturability, serviceability and product quality.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled CREO Cabling Harness Engineer to join our Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience in electrical harness design, 3D harness routing, manufacturing documentation, and product lifecycle management using PTC Creo Cabling (EHI & EFI) and PTC Windchill. Candidates with experience in Aerospace, Automotive, or related industries will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical wiring harnesses using PTC Creo Cabling (EHI & EFI).
• Perform 3D harness routing and electrical integration within complex assemblies.
• Create and maintain manufacturing drawings, detailed drawings, and engineering documentation.
• Generate and manage Bills of Materials (BOM) in compliance with engineering standards.
• Interpret electrical schematics and convert them into accurate harness designs.
• Select appropriate connectors, conduits, clamps, and fastening components based on design requirements.
• Perform wire bundle calculations, weight assessment, and dimensional stack-up analysis.
• Ensure designs comply with GD&T standards (ASME, ISO, DIN, SAE, MIL) and customer specifications.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, Quality, and Program Management.
• Support design reviews, engineering change requests (ECR/ECO), and design validation activities.
• Maintain engineering data and revisions using PTC Windchill PLM.
• Ensure designs are optimized for manufacturability, serviceability, and product quality.
