Job summary

EXL is seeking a Product Owner/Business Analyst for Noida, India to drive large roadmap initiatives and coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams. The role requires deep IT business analysis, strong documentation, and client-facing skills to gather requirements, prioritize work, and guide UAT.

The candidate will collaborate with Dev, QA and UI/UX teams, manage stakeholder sessions, and translate epics into actionable features while ensuring timely delivery and value realization for complex

Responsibilities

• Drive large roadmap projects as assigned.
• Collaborate with BAs, Dev, QA and UI/UX teams; engage stakeholders on requirements, approach and UAT.
• Engage in stakeholder sessions and oversee requirement gathering and UAT.
• Review and provide feedback on new user stories; translate Epic work into features with input from Platform Owner.
• Prioritize issues with scrum team and address blockers.
• Create user stories and project artifacts as required.
• Plan release notes, timelines, training and downtime with Platform Owner and stakeholders.
• Assess change requests for feasibility and impact on project scope.
• Measure business value of new projects and assess outcomes.
• Coordinate backlog refinement and sprint planning with Platform Owner.

Job Overview

• Position Title, Responsibility Level Product Owner/Business Analyst Function OSI Audit Reports to Sr. Manager Regular/Temporary Regular Grade C1 Location Noida, India

Responsibilities

• Drive Large Roadmap Projects as assigned
• Work with Business Analysts daily and collaborate with Dev, QA and UI/UX Teams, engage with Stakeholders on requirements, approach and UAT
• Engage in stakeholder sessions, oversee requirement gathering and UAT
• Review and give feedback on new user stories created by BA team, seek Platform Owner inputs as needed, drive the translation of Epic work requirements and priorities into features
• Work with Scrum Master and Team to help prioritize and address blockers
• Create User Stories and other project artifacts as required
• Work with Platform Owner and Stakeholders to define strategies for project implementation based on scale and complexity of the deliverable, including planning with Operations, communicating timelines and planning downtime, training, publishing of release notes
• Work with Platform Owner, Scrum Team and business stakeholders to manager scope of projects - assessing and evaluating change requests for feasibility and impact on overall project
• Work with Platform owner and Business Stakeholders to measure estimated business value of new projects, then assist with measurement and assessment of outcomes to determine whether intended business value was achieved
• Responsible for review and prioritization of production issues: Collaborate with Business Analysts assigned for initial triage to review incoming items
• Work with the Platform Owner for feedback on handling of incoming issues
• Provide feedback to help desk on quality of incoming escalated tickets, seeking to improve the efficiency of the process and prevent unnecessary escalations
• Work with Platform Owner to plan and conduct Backlog Refinement sessions and keep Product Backlog for upcoming sprints at optimal levels
• Work with Platform owner to plan future sprints to support Large Roadmap Project progress
• Attend all Agile Ceremonies for all Platform Scrum Teams as is feasible (Grooming, Daily Standup, Sprint Planning, Scrum of Scrums, Retrospective)
• Assist Platform Owner by communicating the vision of the platform to the Team and helping guide the Team towards that vision on a daily basis
• Engage with Platform Owner to provide feedback from end users, identify risks sand opportunities for improvement and helps drive long term direction of applications within the platform.
• Respond to inquiries from stakeholders (PO & Business) within 1 business day

Education Requirements

• B.TECH / MCA / MBA / PGDM (Insurance)
• Certifications in insurance (FLMI) or IT Business Analysis preferred

Work Experience Requirements

• 9 to 14 years of overall experience
• Minimum 7 years of experience as a Business Analyst
