Job summary

MACOM in India is seeking a CAD design engineer to create and modify 2D drawings and 3D models of bearing components, tools, and fixtures using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Creo.

You will interpret engineering requirements and customer drawings, develop assembly and part drawings, and prepare BOMs for production and quality teams.

The role involves ensuring GD&T compliance, coordinating with production and R&D, and maintaining technical docs and revision control.

Responsibilities

• Create and modify 2D drawings and 3D models of bearing components, tools, and fixtures using CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo, etc.).
• Interpret engineering requirements, product specifications, and customer drawings for accurate design outputs.
• Develop assembly drawings, part drawings, and BOMs for production and quality teams.
• Ensure designs comply with industry standards, GD&T, and manufacturing feasibility.
• Coordinate with production, quality, and R&D teams to support new product development.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation and revision control.
• Provide design support for process improvements, jigs, and fixtures.
