Job summary

ZF Group in India seeks a 1-D Simulation Engineer to develop and validate 1D system models using Siemens AMESim. You will perform multi-domain simulations across thermal, fluid, mechanical and electrical systems, and interpret test data for validation.

Use of AMESim is mandatory, with MATLAB/Simulink and Python skills preferred. Postgraduate mechanical engineering degree and 4–6 years' experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate degree in mechanical engineering is required.
• Experience with 1D simulation concepts and multi-physics.
• Background in thermal management, fluids, and control systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and simulate system-level 1D models using Siemens AMESim.
• Perform multi-domain simulations (thermal, fluid, mechanical, electrical).
• Correlate simulation results with test data and perform validation.
• Prepare technical reports, documentation and presentations.
• Collaborate with design, validation, and testing teams.
• Contribute to requirement analysis and system architecture development.

Your profile as 1-D Simulation Engineer(m/f/d):

• Relevant Experience in FEA: 4-6 Years (Preferable: AMESIM (1-D Simulation, Matlab /Simulink)

• Correlate simulation results with test/experimental data. Conduct design optimization and sensitivity analysis
• Support system performance evaluation and troubleshooting. Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, validation, testing)
• Participate in requirement analysis and system architecture development
