Responsibilities

• Assist the Steel Yard Manager in managing daily steel yard operations to ensure smooth workflow and productivity.
• Load and unload steel materials using forklifts and cranes.
• Organise and maintain inventory to ensure materials are stored safely and efficiently.
• Supervise and coordinate yard personnel, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
• Oversee inventory control by tracking steel stock levels and organizing material storage efficiently.
• Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and dispatch of steel materials.
