Job summary

Cork Builders Providers, part of Chadwicks Group (Grafton Group Plc), seeks a Yard Operations Manager to lead yard, store and delivery activities in Blackpool, Cork. You will ensure safe, efficient operations and exceptional service for trade professionals and DIY customers.

The role requires prior supervisory experience, strong health & safety awareness, and knowledge of building products. You will coordinate deliveries, supervise staff, and drive cost-efficiency while maintaining high service

Qualifications

Prev. Foreperson or managerial experience desirable.
Health & Safety awareness.
Knowledge of building products.
Experience in busy builders providers is an advantage but not essential.

Responsibilities

Ensure secure, efficient, safe, tidy operations of the yard, store and delivery areas of the branch.
Deliver highest standard of customer service to our customers.
Organise deliveries and collections for retail and trade customers.
Oversee Health & Safety within the yard and ensure quality standards are met.
Delegate housekeeping in yard and surrounding areas.
