Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Workday techno‑functional Systems Engineer to design and deliver scalable solutions across Workday Absence and Time Tracking for the Global Employee Success organization. The role blends business analysis with hands‑on configuration, testing, and deployment leadership in a dynamic, high‑growth environment.

The ideal candidate will translate business needs into detailed requirements, manage cross‑functional stakeholders, and ensure accurate payroll implications and SOX

Qualifications

• 5+ years configuring Workday Absence and Time Tracking.
• Strong understanding of absence plans, accruals, eligibility and leave administration.
• Practical payroll experience and understanding of time data impact on payroll.
• Experience translating requirements into scalable Workday configurations and acceptance criteria.
• Experience leading testing, deployments and post-production validation.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical owner for Workday Absence and Time Tracking.
• Lead requirements elaboration with Product Management, Payroll, HR operations and others.
• Translate business use cases into functional and technical requirements and configurations.
• Design, configure, test, and maintain time-off plans, accruals and related processes.
• Coordinate Workday release impact assessments and production deployments.
• Lead root-cause analysis for production issues and payroll incidents.
