Job summary

ALS Minerals, based in Loughrea, Ireland, is seeking a Work Order Entry (WOE) Assistant to join the Work Order Entry Department. The role requires entering samples on GEMs, coordinating with various teams, and organizing inter-lab sample shipments.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent.
• Ability to work evening shift.
• Minimum of 1 year operational experience.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Enter samples on GEMs and ensure WOEs are written up promptly, resolving any clarifications with clients or managers.
• Coordinate with sample prep and weighing department to align sample schedules and priority.
• Organise shipping of samples to other labs for analysis not performed in LR.
• Assist management in achieving targets for quality of WOE work and turnaround time (TAT).
• Perform administrative duties and support ALS Management as required.
