Job summary

ALS in Ireland is seeking a Work Order Entry Assistant to join our Work Order Entry Department. You will enter samples on GEMs, coordinate with clients and management, ensure WOEs are written promptly and accessible for all shifts.

The role requires a university degree, strong communication, and ability to work evenings. You will liaise with multiple teams, organize shipments, and support safety and quality targets while advancing your career at ALS.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to work evenings and multi-task under pressure.
• Attention to detail and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Enter samples on GEMs, ensuring accurate work orders and timely submission.
• Clarify analysis, price or instructions with clients or managers as needed.
• Ensure WOEs are written promptly and available for all shifts.
• Assist management in achieving quality targets and-TAT for WOE work.
• Coordinate with sample prep and weighing room on schedules and priorities.
• Organise over-limit or additional analysis requests and liaise with other labs as required.
• Arrange shipping of samples to other labs for analyses not conducted here.
• Communicate with other labs daily about samples shipped or WOEs created.
• Follow established procedures and safety guidelines at all times.
• Attend required training and perform administrative tasks as needed.
