Job summary

NHS Highland is seeking a part-time Work Control Administrator based in the Estates Department at Raigmore Hospital, Inverness.

You will provide administrative services to the Estates Department to ensure an effective Estates service, participate in the Estates Helpdesk, and support facilities maintenance workflows.

The role requires strong Microsoft Office skills, excellent communication, literacy and numeracy, and the ability to prioritise and work on own initiative.

Qualifications

  • HNC/HND in Administration or SVQ3 Administration or equivalent is required.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
  • Experience in facilities maintenance workflows is desirable.
  • Excellent communication, literacy and numeracy skills are essential.
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to prioritise and manage time.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative services to the Estates Department to ensure an effective Estates service.

Job Details

At NHS Highland we have part-time vacancy within our Estates Department for an Work Control Administrator based in the Estates Department, Raigmore Hospital, Inverness.

The successful candidate will provide administrative services, as part of a team, to the Estates Department to ensure that an effective Estates service is provided throughout the NHS Highland area, including participation in the Estates Helpdesk function, and all associated aspects.

What we are looking for
  • HNC/HND in Administration or SVQ3 Administration or equivalent.
  • The post holder should have a working knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office, including word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in facilities maintenance workflows
  • Excellent communication skills including good telephone manner, tact and diplomacy.
  • Excellent literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritise and manage time, and work, using own initiative.
  • Ability to analyse information and communicate it in a straightforward manner.
