NHS Scotland is seeking a Quality and Patient Safety Coordinator for Raigmore Hospital. The role provides high-level administrative and coordination support to the Quality and Patient Safety Team and the Division, working with directorates and Rural General Hospitals.
Responsibilities include coordinating meetings, preparing agendas, papers and reports, and meticulous note-taking. Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and confidentiality are essential; the post is 20 hours over four days per week.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and highly organised individual to join the Quality and Patient Safety Team based at Raigmore Hospital as a Quality and Patient Safety Coordinator.
This varied and rewarding role will provide high-level administrative and coordination support to the Division and offers the successful candidate an excellent opportunity to make a difference in a dynamic and busy healthcare environment.
The post holder will play an important role in supporting the Division, working closely with different directorates and Rural General Hospitals. You will coordinate meetings and prepare agendas, papers, reports and correspondence. Attention to detail is essential for note taking at meetings. Well-developed communication skills, along with the ability to maintain confidentiality, are prerequisites for this role. Applicants must also be highly proficient in Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
The post holder will be expected to work autonomously within an agreed framework. They will be required to review and prioritise their workload in conjunction with the overall work plan of the team and be able to respond to conflicting demands.
The hours of this role is 20 hours worked over 4 days per week.
Previous NHS experience is desirable.
