Job summary

Tenda Oriental fast food Mullingar is seeking an experienced Commis Chef to join the kitchen team. You will work at the wok station, prepare ingredients, and follow established Chinese recipes to deliver authentic dishes during busy service.

You should have at least 2 years of professional Chinese cooking experience, Level 5 qualification or equivalent, and a solid understanding of HACCP guidelines. Fluency in Chinese is desirable.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a professional kitchen.
• Level 5 qualification or equivalent (Leaving Certificate/VC/LCVP).
• Desirable Chinese language ability (C2 Master) and HACCP knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook authentic Chinese dishes according to established recipes.
• Operate wok station and manage temperatures and timing.
• Prepare ingredients including meat, vegetables, and sauces.
• Ensure consistent food quality, taste, and presentation.
