Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (Level 8) in Engineering or Physics; Electronic/Electrical Engineering preferred.
• Exposure to continuous improvement and quality methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, DOE, DMAIC, FMEA, SPC) is an advantage.
• Familiarity with semiconductor device physics, discrete power devices (e.g., diodes and bipolar transistors), or ATE/electrical test environments is an advantage but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Apply reliability engineering theory and principles to Microchip products and manufacturing processes.
• Drive data analysis, SPC, and RCCA activities to resolve yield, quality, and equipment issues and sustain continuous improvement.
• Originate and develop technical solutions, process advancements, and automation initiatives that strengthen Microchip's position as an industry leader in high-reliability discrete semiconductors.
• Create and maintain process and product documentation, including test flows, specifications, and associated process controls.
