Veolia Ireland is seeking a Project Manager (Proposals) for the Water/Wastewater sector. Based in Kilkenny, Fermoy or Dublin with hybrid/onsite options, you will lead a proposals team, manage commercial and technical aspects, and collaborate with clients and partners to deliver competitive tenders from €0–€1.5M.

The role requires an NFQ Level 8 Bachelor degree and 5+ years of experience in water projects, strong management, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Accredited NFQ Level 8 Honours Bachelor Degree in relevant discipline.
• 5+ years post-qualification experience in tender or execution of water/wastewater projects.
• Knowledge of water and wastewater treatment industry.
• Extensive knowledge of current market conditions.
• Highly organised and efficient with strong problem solving.
• Numerate and highly computer literate.
• Analytical and visionary mind-set.
• Effective time management and communication skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsabilités

• Lead and manage a portfolio of proposals.
• Own the commercial and technical aspects of the proposals process.
• Collaborate with clients to develop cost models.
• Contribute to design and engineering development.
• Coordinate with delivery teams to apply lessons learned and run peer reviews.
• Manage supply partners and supply chain during target cost development.
• Develop accurate and competitive target costs.
• Evaluate and select suitable partners, technologies, equipment and vendors.
• Identify risks, allocate costs and responsibilities, and agree program of works with partners.
• Adhere to all internal governance procedures.
