Job summary

Ward And Burke Construction Limited is seeking a skilled CAD Technician with water and wastewater experience to join our Mechanical Estimating Department. You will develop, coordinate and deliver high-quality drawings and 3D models.

Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD, plus BIM knowledge and adherence to BIM Level 2 standards, are essential. You will collaborate with estimators and designers to translate concepts into detailed CAD outputs.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a CAD Technician in the water and wastewater industry.
Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD.
Knowledge of BIM processes and BIM Level 2 standards.
Experience delivering detailed drawings for civil, mechanical, or process projects.
Familiarity with Navisworks for clash detection.
Understanding of water and wastewater treatment processes and infrastructure layouts.

Responsibilities

Produce accurate 2D drawings and 3D models and P&IDs for water and wastewater facilities.
Develop and maintain Revit models in line with BIM standards.
Collaborate with mechanical estimators and designers to translate concepts into detailed drawings.
Support project delivery by ensuring timely completion of drawings.
Ensure drawings comply with client specifications and industry standards.
Assist in developing and improving CAD, Revit and BIM standards.
