Job summary

Cofftec have an immediate requirement for a Revit / AutoCAD / BIM Engineer to join our design team in Athenry, Galway. You will prepare 2D and 3D designs for water and wastewater projects, collaborating with Mechanical, Electrical, Process and Civil engineers.

The role requires strong BIM knowledge, proficiency in Autodesk tools, and the ability to deliver accurate drawings and models on time, with adherence to ISO and internal BIM protocols.

Qualifications

• Third-level BIM or related discipline qualification.
• Minimum 2 years post-graduate experience.
• Certificate in 2D/3D Autodesk products or equivalent.
• Experience with AutoCAD, AutoCAD Plant 3D, and Revit.
• Knowledge of BIM practices and standards.
• Strong IT and MS Office skills.
• Full driving license and right to work in Ireland.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare 2D drawings and 3D models for MEP packages using Autodesk products.
• Ensure drawings meet internal, client and industry standards.
• Create drawing registers and transmittals.
• Produce coordinated models for manufacturing and installation.
• Assist in document control per ISO procedures and BIM protocols.
• Coordinate with project disciplines and perform clash detection.
• Generate As-Built models and O&M manuals.
• Extract MTOs and BOMs from 3D models for procurement.
• Support design reviews and stakeholder meetings.
• Deliver packages within project timelines and budget hours.
• Participate in design/project meetings.
