Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Technical Director in Dublin to lead water and wastewater delivery with a strong client focus and strategic oversight. The role requires Chartered Civil Engineering credentials and senior leadership experience within a consultancy or contracting environment.

You will drive business development, manage complex projects and mentor a high-performing team, supporting commercial success and innovative solutions for local and national clients.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of operating within the island of Ireland and a strong understanding of the water industry and our key client, Uisce Éireann.
• Experience in leading multidisciplinary teams and delivering complex water/wastewater schemes.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management and commercial acumen.

Responsibilities

• Client Relationship Management: Manage long-term partnerships and identify cross-selling opportunities.
• Technical Oversight: Lead a multi-disciplinary team through feasibility, design, tender and construction stages.
• Strategic Growth & Business Development: Drive opportunities, prepare proposals and bids to grow the Ireland Water footprint.
• Team Management: Mentor and manage regional staff to ensure high performance and delivery within time and budget.
