Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to deliver civil projects across Ireland, including drainage, highways and water infrastructure. You will lead designs from feasibility to construction, mentor junior colleagues and liaise with clients and multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified civil engineer with chartered status or working towards chartered.
• Experience in drainage networks, SuDS, water distribution, flood risk, highways/pavements and earthworks modelling.
• Proficient in MicroDrainage/InfoDrainage, AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Clear communicator with multidisciplinary team experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil engineering designs from feasibility to construction.
• Provide drainage input and mentor junior engineers.
• Collaborate with clients and multidisciplinary teams to meet timelines and high standards.
• Conduct site inspections, prepare reports, manage technical risks.
