Job summary

Veolia is seeking an O&M Technician - Mechanical to support the wastewater treatment plant operations at Osberstown, Co. Kildare. The role involves routine monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting in collaboration with the Plant Manager and teams.

The ideal candidate is a trade-qualified Mechanical fitter with 2+ years in water/wastewater environments and additional welding experience is a plus. Onsite work, with potential for out-of-hours assistance as needed.

Qualifications

• Trade qualified Mechanical fitter.
• Experience in water/wastewater treatment plants is an advantage.
• Welding experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Routine checking and monitoring of plant and process operation.
• Carrying out maintenance activities and calibration of equipment.
• Liaison with sub-contractors to ensure tasks are completed safely and on time.
• Plan and coordinate shutdowns in conjunction with management.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality and legislative requirements.
