Job Description

Base: Ballinrobe, Claremorris,Ballintubber Co.Mayo some of the sitesyou will be covering as follows LoughCarra Wtp, Ballycroy Wtp, Glenhest Wtp, Belderrig Wtp, Fahy Wtp, Kilmeena Wtp,Killeen Wtp, Laghta Wtp, Drummin Wtp, Lough Mask Wtp, Glencorrib Wtp, BrackloonSpaddagh Wtp, Kilmovee Urlaur Wtp) and other sites as requested by your manager. As an O&M Technician you will be assigned ownershipofcertain water and wastewater treatment plants, and will be responsible toensure the quality and quantity of any treated water produced or final effluenttreated is within specification, and that each of the assigned sites, theirfacilities, grounds, contents and individual process’ are operated &maintained as required. All O&M Technicians will work in conjunction witheach other and may be required to undertake duties and provide cover at variousplants.You will be allocated responsibility and ownership for yourdedicated water or wastewater treatment plants and will ensure they are coveredby other O&M Department team members while on scheduled/unscheduled leaveor days off duty. Each Technician will work on a rota system, which will bemanaged by O&M office staff. It is a requirement to share the out of hours& public holiday cover with the contract site team. Any changes to thepublished rota require notice to the O&M Project Manager in advance.The use of email/apps etc is required and is considered anessential business tool in day-to-day O&M activities. Business etiquette onall correspondence is essential.As an Operations & Maintenance Technician, you will beexpected to support the O&M project manager and engineer in the dailyoperation and maintenance of live operational projects as well as showingprogression and development in your own career.
