Job summary

Veolia is seeking an O&M Technician - Mechanical at Osberstown, Co. Kildare. The role is onsite with typical hours from 08:00 to 16:30 and involves routine monitoring, servicing, calibration and maintenance of plant equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

Qualifications

• Experience in water/wastewater treatment plants is advantageous (2+ years).
• Welding experience is advantageous.
• Must be flexible to work outside normal hours to support Plant Manager/clients.
• Strong technical capability with attention to detail.
• Good problem solving and communication skills.
• Ability to plan and coordinate maintenance with safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Carry out operational duties to ensure optimum plant performance and reliability.
• Communicate with management, team members, clients and suppliers to meet deliverables.
• Carry out routine checks, maintenance, calibration and testing of equipment per CMMS and contracts.
• Perform maintenance on pumps, valves, belts, conveyors, tanks and related equipment.
• Respond to plant failures and support remote troubleshooting as needed.
• Ensure all work complies with health, safety, ethical and quality requirements.
