Job summary

Panda is seeking a Civic Amenity Site Supervisor to oversee our sites across County Monaghan and County Cavan from the Monaghan depot. You’ll lead the teams, keep operations compliant and safe, and help the public use the sites correctly.

The role requires supervisory experience in waste management or related operations, strong communication, a full driving licence, and willingness to travel between sites; Saturday rota flexibility is required.

Qualifications

• Waste management or civic amenity operations experience preferred.
• Experience leading a team and maintaining safe working practices.
• Strong communication and customer-focused approach.
• Full, clean driving licence and ability to travel between sites.
• Flexibility to work Saturdays on a rota.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily site activity across Monaghan and Cavan.
• Lead employees and subcontractors ensuring training and safety.
• Plan work and allocate staff and equipment to maintain productivity.
• Assist customers with waste segregation and site intake.
• Maximise material recovery and monitor loads.
• Keep sites clean, safe and maintain records.
• Coordinate maintenance with plant operators.
• Manage attendance, holidays and performance.
• Collaborate with traffic, sales and other teams to resolve issues.
• Monitor safety, costs, stock and downtime.
• Travel between Monaghan and Cavan sites as required.
