Job summary

Amtivo Group is seeking an Environmental Compliance Officer – Waste Enforcement to lead daily inspections and investigate complaints to ensure compliance with waste legislation. Based in Dublin City Centre with potential travel across the country, the role focuses on process-driven activities and maintaining strong client relations.

You will inspect waste producers and facilities, collect and interpret data, and prepare detailed reports.

Qualifications

• Degree in Environmental Sciences (or similar) and/or NVQ Level 8 or higher.
• Full clean driver’s license (min category B).
• Fluent in written and oral English; excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and audit waste producers, facilities, and waste collection permit holders.
• Collect, manage and interpret data; gather intelligence on illegal waste activities.
• Prepare written reports on non-compliances and suspected breaches; give evidence in court.
