Job summary

College Group (College Proteins) in Nobber, Co. Meath, Ireland, seeks an Environmental Officer to ensure compliance with EPA licences, licences, and BAT standards at its Nobber facility.

The role focuses on regulatory liaison, reporting, and maintaining environmental records across multiple sites. The successful candidate will have a relevant degree and strong knowledge of Irish environmental law, ISO 14001/ISO 50001, and experience with regulators.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level qualification in environmental discipline.
• Strong understanding of EPA licensing and compliance in Ireland.
• Experience with environmental regulators and reporting.
• Familiarity with ISO 14001 EMS and ISO 50001 energy management.
• Knowledge of BAT and related regulatory conclusions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain compliance with EPA licences, NWCPO permit, and TFS requirements.
• Manage environmental documentation system and monitoring programme.
• Prepare environmental reports and submissions for EPA.
• Collaborate with senior management on on-site environmental issues.
• Maintain comprehensive environmental records and permits.
