Job summary

MEDITE SMARTPLY in Belview, near Waterford, is seeking a Warehouse and Shipping Supervisor to lead our warehouse and shipping teams and optimise plant performance. You will ensure accurate inventory, safe loading, and timely deliveries to customers, while driving lean improvements across operations.

You will manage daily activities, coordinate with inter-department teams, and develop staff in line with company policies, ensuring KPIs are met and safety standards are maintained.

Qualifications

• HETAC level 8 qualification in a relevant discipline.
• Experience supervising in a warehouse/manufacturing environment.
• Strong track record in team leadership and people motivation.
• Excellent communication, organisational & interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate staff to meet KPIs.
• Self-motivated with initiative.
• Demonstrate excellent IT skills and knowledge of inventory systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and drive warehouse and shipping activities to optimise plant performance and ensure loads are delivered in good order.
