Aran Woollen Mills in Westport, Co. Mayo is hiring Warehouse Operatives for a permanent, full-time role on site. The position involves handling deliveries, picking orders, stock control, and maintaining a clean, safe warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all tasks are completed in compliance with H&S and all documentation is completed.
• Taking in and processing deliveries and storing them efficiently and categorically in accordance with goods in.
• Accurate picking of orders and preparing for efficient dispatch, ensuring correct packing lists and labels.
• Maintaining stock file accuracy through picking, packing and goods in, as per company guidelines.
• Ensure proper disposal of all waste as per company guidelines.
• General cleanliness of all areas, keep warehouse organised, removing hazards and preventing accidents.
• Work closely with other warehouse operatives and supervisors to achieve daily targets.
• Support other warehouse tasks as needed.

Main duties of this role will include:

What are we looking for:

• Time Management: Ability to work efficiently and prioritise tasks to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Communication Skills: Clear verbal and written communication skills to report issues and work effectively with team members.
• Basic IT Skills: Good PC skills are desirable
• Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively within a team to achieve warehouse and company goals.
• Forklift experience would be an advantage
