Job summary

Hollybank Trustees Ltd in Mallow, Co. Cork is seeking a Warehouse Operator to join our Domestic Stores and Warehouse Division. You will perform forklift duties, conduct inspections, and help maintain stock accuracy and safety.

You will use ERP, Word and Excel, support LEAN initiatives, coordinate with accounts and site teams, and assist with stock takes and regional logistics across branches.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily forklift checks.
• Conduct shelf, ladder, and health & safety inspections, ensure cleanliness and organization of Domestic and Project Stores.
• Use ERP systems, Microsoft Word, Excel, email, scanners & label printers.
• Support warehouse improvement projects, including LEAN initiatives.
• Prepare and participate in the end-of-year stock take.
• Manage stock, load/unload pallets with forklift, receive and label inventory, conduct stock cycle counts using scanners and audit shelves for proper labelling and part location.
• Liaise with accounts on supplier queries and collaborate with fitters and engineers regarding orders and locations.
• Oversee logistics for other branches (Mountrath, Ballyhaunis, Naas); perform IT-related operations (ERP, word processing, email, label printing); participate in supplier product training and internal training sessions.
• Ensure health and safety compliance, prepare for ISO audit inspections, and support LEAN initiatives.
• Manage order queries, maintain Kanban, process warranty returns, and handle general requests.
• Excellent attention to detail and self-motivation.
• Proven ability to work well with a team.
• Good communication skills (verbal and written).
• Issuing goods to EPS Departments as required.
• Load/unload lorries, trucks and containers as required.
• Support sales teams with stock picking as required.
• Support ongoing warehouse improvements projects.

EPS are recruiting for a Warehouse Operator for our Head Office, Mallow, Co. Cork

The Warehouse Operator is responsible for daily operations within our Domestic Stores and Warehouse Division, including below list of duties:

Responsibilities

• Performing daily forklift checks
• Conducting shelf, ladder, and health & safety inspections, and ensuring the cleanliness and organization of both Domestic and Project Stores
• Use ERP systems, Microsoft word, excel, email, scanners & label printers
• Support ongoing warehouse improvement projects, including LEAN initiatives
• Prepare and participate in the end-of-year stock take
• The role involves managing stock, including loading and unloading pallets with the forklift, receiving and labelling inventory, conducting stock cycle counts using scanners and auditing shelves to ensure proper labelling and part location.
• Additionally, the individual will liaise with the accounts team on supplier queries and collaborate with fitters and engineers regarding order arrivals and locations
• Other tasks include overseeing logistics for our other branches in Mountrath, Ballyhaunis, and Naas, performing IT-related operations such as ERP, word processing, email, and label printing, and participating in supplier product training and internal training sessions
• Ensuring health and safety compliance, preparing for ISO audit inspections, and supporting warehouse improvement projects through LEAN initiatives are also key aspects of this role
