Rexel/Kellihers Electrical in Limerick is seeking a Warehouse Operative to join our team. You will handle goods and products in the warehouse, including loading and unloading deliveries, and support trade counter operations with excellent customer service.

This role focuses on goods-in/out processes, safe handling, order preparation for collection or delivery, and maintaining a clean, safe warehouse while following Health & Safety procedures.

We are recruiting a Warehouse Operative for our Limerick branch.

Job Description

Role Purpose:

The successful candidate will be responsible for handling goods and products within the warehouse, including loading and unloading deliveries. The role will also involve supporting trade counter operations and providing excellent customer service.

Key Accountabilities:

• General warehouse duties, including goods-in and goods-out processes.
• Loading, unloading and storing products safely and efficiently.
• Preparing customer orders for collection and delivery.
• Delivering goods as required.
• Serving customers at the trade counter and providing product support.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised warehouse environment.
• Complying with Health & Safety procedures at all times.

Qualifications

Essential Experience:

• Electrical wholesale experience and/or electrical product knowledge would be advantageous.
• Experience working in a busy warehouse environment.
• Forklift operating experience.
• Previous customer service experience is desirable.

Technical / Functional skills:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be able to demonstrate good organisation and time management skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Have good attention to detail, be very organised and a multitasker.
• Computer literate with a good working knowledge of standard business systems.
• A full Irish driving licence.
• Valid forklift licence.
