Job summary

Murphy Home in Ireland is seeking a motivated Warehouse operative to join our Newbridge team. You will move stock safely, receive and unload products, and help maintain inventory using handheld scanners and standard warehouse processes.

Candidates must hold up-to-date forklift related licenses (counterbalance, reach, VNA, forklift) and have a team-focused approach. MEWP license is a plus and training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Team player with good communication and effort in a fast-paced warehouse.
• Must hold up-to-date counterbalance truck license (Essential).
• Must hold up-to-date reach truck license (Essential).
• Must hold up-to-date VNA license (Essential).
• Must hold up-to-date forklift license (Essential).
• MEWP license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently move goods within the warehouse.
• Operate powered equipment such as forklift, MEWP as required.
• Receive and unload products from containers.
• Handle goods inwards and organize stock on racks.
• Perform warehouse inventory controls and cycle counts.

Job Overview

You’ll be responsible for working safely in a fast-moving warehouse environment. These may include receiving and processing products, managing and moving stock. You’ll be trained and provided with the tools and and equipment needed.

Hours:

Monday to Friday 7am-4.30pm 45hours

This role offers a salary of OTE €38k per annum.

The Role:

• Safely and efficiently move product within the warehouse area
• Operate powered equipment as needed such as forklift and MEWP
• Receive and unload product from containers
• Handling of goods inwards
• Sorting and placing items on racks and shelves
• Performing warehouse inventory controls
• Organising transfers and loading goods onto delivery vehicles
• Provide the highest level of picking standards of customer products
• Protect and handle all stock to ensure ZERO damage
• Understand your department’s action plans and support the goals and targets
• Assist in cycle counting and stock checks
• Load, and sometimes deliver, goods
• Use of handheld scanners , voice system
• Picking orders

The Candidate

• Valid and up to date counterbalance truck license (Essential)
• Valid and up to date reach truck license (Essential)
• Valid and up to date VNA license (Essential)
• Valid and up to date Forklift license (Essential)
• Valid and up to date MEWP liceknse is preferred
• Able to work as a team member
