Job summary

Murphy Home in Ireland is seeking a warehouse operative to join our fast-moving facility. You will move product safely, receive and unload containers, stock shelves, and support cycle counts while using handheld scanners and voice systems.

Reporting to the Day Shift Supervisor, you’ll be trained on equipment including counterbalance, reach, VNA, forklift and MEWP licenses. The role runs Monday to Friday, 7am to 4:30pm, with an OTE of €38k per annum.

Qualifications

• Valid and up-to-date counterbalance truck license (Essential).
• Valid and up-to-date reach truck license (Essential).
• Valid and up-to-date VNA license (Essential).
• Valid and up-to-date Forklift license (Essential).
• MEWP license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently move product within the warehouse area.
• Operate powered equipment as needed such as forklift and MEWP.
• Receive and unload product from containers.
• Handling of goods inwards.
• Sorting and placing items on racks and shelves.
• Performing warehouse inventory controls.
• Organising transfers and loading goods onto delivery vehicles.
• Provide the highest level of picking standards of customer products.

Job Overview

You’ll be responsible for working safely in a fast-moving warehouse environment. These may include receiving and processing products, managing and moving stock. You’ll be trained and provided with the tools and and equipment needed.

Hours:

Monday to Friday 7am-4.30pm 45hours

This role offers a salary of OTE €38k per annum.

The Role:

• Safely and efficiently move product within the warehouse area
• Operate powered equipment as needed such as forklift and MEWP
• Receive and unload product from containers
• Handling of goods inwards
• Sorting and placing items on racks and shelves
• Performing warehouse inventory controls
• Organising transfers and loading goods onto delivery vehicles
• Provide the highest level of picking standards of customer products
• Protect and handle all stock to ensure ZERO damage
• Understand your department’s action plans and support the goals and targets
• Assist in cycle counting and stock checks
• Load, and sometimes deliver, goods
• Use of handheld scanners , voice system
• Picking orders

The Candidate
