Job summary

DFDS is seeking a Warehouse Operative in Meath, Ireland. You will join a busy warehouse team, handling order picking, forklift operation, loading and unloading, and stock replenishment. The role combines hands-on warehousing duties with FLT duties and offers progression opportunities.

You'll need a Counterbalance Licence; Aislemaster experience is a plus. We value reliability, teamwork and a strong safety mindset as you contribute to daily targets in a growing logistics operation.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience and a valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence.
• Experience operating an Aislemaster is advantageous; training may be provided.
• Positive, proactive team player with a good work ethic and safety focus.

About The Role

Working as part of a busy warehouse team, you'll support the safe and efficient movement of goods throughout the operation. This role combines warehouse duties with forklift truck operation and offers opportunities for overtime and development.

You Will Be Responsible For

• Picking and preparing orders accurately for dispatch
• Operating Counterbalance and Aislemaster forklift trucks safely and efficiently
• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Moving, storing, and replenishing stock within the warehouse
• Completing warehouse checks and maintaining stock accuracy
• Following all warehouse procedures and Health & Safety requirements
• Supporting colleagues across the operation to achieve daily targets

About You

You'll have previous warehouse experience and hold a valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence. Experience operating an Aislemaster would be advantageous, although training may be available for the right candidate.

You'll thrive in this role if you have a positive, proactive attitude and enjoy working as part of a team. We're looking for someone who is hands‑on, dependable, and willing to learn and progress.
