Job summary

DFDS is seeking a Warehouse Operative in Ireland to support day-to-day warehouse operations, moving, storing, picking and dispatching goods safely and efficiently. You will work a rotating shift pattern and collaborate with a hard-working team.

Candidates should have prior warehouse experience and a valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence; Aislemaster experience is a plus and training may be provided for the right candidate. A strong safety mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience and a valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence are required.
• Experience operating an Aislemaster truck would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Picking and preparing customer orders for dispatch.
• Operating Counterbalance and Aislemaster FLT equipment safely and efficiently.
• Loading and unloading vehicles.
• Moving and storing stock within the warehouse.
• Completing inventory and stock-related tasks accurately.
• Following all warehouse procedures and health & safety requirements.
• Supporting the wider warehouse team to achieve operational targets.

About the role

Working a rotating shift pattern of 4 days on, 3 days off, followed by 3 days on, 4 days off, you’ll support the day‑to‑day warehouse operation, ensuring goods are moved, stored, picked, and dispatched safely and efficiently.

You will be responsible for:

• Picking and preparing customer orders for dispatch
• Operating Counterbalance and Aislemaster FLT equipment safely and efficiently
• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Moving and storing stock within the warehouse
• Completing inventory and stock‑related tasks accurately
• Following all warehouse procedures and health & safety requirements
• Supporting the wider warehouse team to achieve operational targets

About you

You’ll have previous warehouse experience and hold a valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence. Experience operating an Aislemaster truck would be beneficial, although training may be provided for the right candidate.
