North Cork Electrical Ltd is seeking a reliable Warehouse Operative to join our team in Ireland. The role involves warehouse operations, stock control, yard maintenance, and relief delivery driving during holiday periods.

You will pick orders, load and unload deliveries, maintain stock accuracy, and operate stock management software. A full clean driving licence and the ability to work independently as part of a small team are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse/stock control experience.
• Full clean driving licence.
• Minimum age 25 for insurance purposes.
• English language proficiency.
• Manual Handling Certificate and Working at Heights Certification.

Responsibilities

• Picking customer orders accurately and preparing deliveries.
• Loading and unloading deliveries safely and efficiently.
• Manual handling of Solar panels, Batteries, Inverters, cables and related products.
• Receiving incoming stock and checking deliveries against dockets.
• Maintaining accurate stock levels within the warehouse.
• Carrying out regular stock takes and inventory checks.
• Using stock management software to monitor and control inventory.
• Maintaining the yard area and keeping the warehouse clean and organized.
• Providing relief delivery driver cover during holiday periods.
• Delivering goods to customers in a professional and timely manner.

North Cork Electrical is seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Operative to join our team. The role involves warehouse operations, stock control, yard maintenance, and relief delivery driving during holiday periods, supporting the day-to-day running of the business within the electrical and renewable energy sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Picking customer orders accurately and preparing deliveries
• Loading and unloading deliveries safely and efficiently
• Manual handling and lifting of Solar panels, Batteries, Inverters, Electrical cables and related products
• Receiving incoming stock and checking deliveries against dockets
• Maintaining accurate stock levels within the warehouse
• Passing completed dockets to the office for processing once all items are accounted for
• Carrying out regular stock takes and inventory checks
• Using company stock management software to monitor and control inventory
• Maintaining the yard area and keeping the warehouse clean, tidy, and organised
• Ensuring all work areas are maintained to a high safety standard
• Providing relief delivery driver cover during holiday periods and busy times
• Delivering goods to customers in a professional and timely manner
• Carrying out ad hoc duties as required to support the business and warehouse operations

Requirements

• Knowledge of electrical products and materials desirable
• Good level of physical fitness and ability to carry out manual handling duties
• Full clean driving licence
• Minimum age of 25 years required for insurance purposes
• Good organisational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Previous warehouse, stock control, or delivery experience an advantage
• Experience using stock or warehouse management software beneficial
