Job summary

Keelings is recruiting a part-time Warehouse Operative for our Market Business Unit in Dublin. You will be responsible for the receipt handling and dispatch of inbound and outbound stock, and the accurate picking & assembly of customer orders.

The role requires following HACCP rules, SOPs and HS guidelines, plus a strong focus on quality. Hours are 5pm-2am, Monday to Friday with some Saturdays; on-site parking is available and transport is required.

• Ability to work as part of a team and also on own initiative
• Clear spoken and written English required

Responsibilities

• Receive, handle and dispatch stock accurately
• Pick and assemble orders according to specification
• Ensure product quality and HACCP procedures are followed
• Assist with stock counts and liaise with Sales to fulfill orders
• Follow safety, hygiene and SOP requirements
• Load/unload stock and help with van loading when required

We are currently recruiting for a part time Warehouse Operative in our Keelings Market Business Unit.

Purpose of Job

The successful candidate will be responsible for the receipt handling and dispatch of inbound and outbound stock and the accurate picking & assembly of orders.

Main Duties/Responsibilities

• Load / unload stock in a safe manner;
• Sort and pack product for customer orders according to specification;
• Monitor the product to ensure it meets quality standards;
• Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with H&S guidelines and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs);
• Ensure compliance with quality procedures within the Company;
• Sort and filter product to filter out poor quality product
• Assist with Stock counts - General, Class II & Waste
• Liaise with Sales team to ensure Customer orders are fulfilled to appropriate standard
• Ensure that product is handled correctly and packs meet our customer specification
• Follow HACCP rules at all times.
• Pick orders onto cages or pallets as per order requirements with great care to protect quality and minimize damage and waste
• General housekeeping, waste and hygiene to ensure the work area is clean and tidy at all times;
• Assist with van loading if required
• Other duties as may be assigned from time to time by your Manager.

Person Specification / Core Competencies

• Ability to work under pressure – fast, accurate turnaround times required
• Ability to work as part of a team as well as on own initiative
• Ability to communicate well in English language is essential;
• High level of dedication, flexibility and commitment;
• Use correct manual handling techniques.

Hours of work: 5pm - 2am - Monday - Friday and some Saturdays - 40 hours total a week (time and a half over 40)

Pay Rate: 15p / Hour

This role will be based in Keelings, St. Margaret’s – it is necessary to have your own transport (on-site parking provided)
