Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience supervising warehouse/retail staff.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proven leadership ability to supervise and motivate a team.
• Excellent IT skills relevant to warehouse systems.
• Experience with Food Safety and HACCP compliance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily warehouse activities to meet targets.
• Ensure skills mix within the warehouse and training to achieve objectives.
• Maintain equipment and ensure availability for shifts to meet customer requirements.
• Manage workflow in the warehouse to meet operational demands and customer requirements.
• Monitor and manage the performance of those within area of control.
• Supervise health & safety in the warehouse and ensure compliance with risk assessments.
• Ensure security policies are followed.
• Observe Good Distribution Practice for medicinal procedures on shift.
• Maintain warehouse hygiene.
• Ensure stock availability to meet customer demands and needs.
• Ensure orderly handover at end of shift.
• Ensure replenishment of items for next day pick.
• Follow stock protection and shrinkage control procedures.
