Job summary

Elk Recruitment is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead a busy Dublin 24 warehouse in a hands-on, proactive role. You will drive operations, inventory accuracy, and customer service in a fast-paced electrical wholesale environment.

You will manage people, optimize processes, and uphold high health and safety standards while coordinating with internal teams to deliver operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Warehouse Manager or Supervisor.
• Experience with warehouse management systems and inventory control.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Excellent organisational and planning abilities.
• Health and safety aware and compliant with regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily warehouse operations to ensure efficient goods in, storage, picking, packing and dispatch.
• Lead, motivate and develop warehouse team to achieve targets.
• Maintain high standards of health and safety and warehouse organisation.
• Monitor stock accuracy through regular counts and inventory control.
• Ensure orders are picked, packed, and dispatched accurately and on time.
• Coordinate deliveries and supplier receipts; liaise with sales, purchasing and transport teams.
• Identify improvements to warehouse processes and efficiencies and monitor KPIs.
• Plan staffing, scheduling and workload; ensure equipment is maintained and safe to operate.
