Warehouse Manager

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Warehouse Manager to lead our busy warehouse operations in Dublin 24. Working within a well-established electrical wholesale business, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient day-to-day running of the warehouse, maintaining high standards of accuracy, safety, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage the daily operations of the warehouse to ensure efficient goods in, storage, picking, packing and dispatch.
- Lead, motivate and develop the warehouse team to achieve operational targets.
- Maintain high standards of health and safety, housekeeping and warehouse organisation.
- Monitor stock accuracy through effective inventory control and regular stock counts.
- Ensure customer orders are picked, packed and dispatched accurately and on time.
- Coordinate incoming deliveries and supplier receipts.
- Work closely with the sales, purchasing and transport teams to ensure excellent customer service.
- Identify and implement improvements to warehouse processes and efficiencies.
- Monitor warehouse performance, productivity and KPIs.
- Manage staffing levels, scheduling and workload planning.
- Ensure all equipment is maintained and operated safely.
- Support recruitment, training and performance management of warehouse staff.
- Assist with continuous improvement initiatives and other operational projects.
About You
You are an organised and motivated warehouse professional with strong leadership skills and experience managing warehouse operations within a distribution or wholesale environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or Warehouse Supervisor.
- Previous experience within electrical wholesale, builders' merchants, industrial distribution or a similar sector is highly desirable.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent organisational and planning abilities.
- Experience with warehouse management systems and inventory control.
- Good understanding of health and safety regulations and warehouse best practices.
- Ability to prioritise workloads and perform well under pressure.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Competent IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Forklift certification is advantageous but not essential.
